AOL Inc has opened a new division of AOL Industry, focused on professionals from government, military and energy industries. The idea of creating a unit - the union of social media, video and user-friendly site design into a single service and the withdrawal of the product for the corporate market.
According to the vice-president Jay Kirsch, who last edited a professional journal of aerospace topics, trade media have not been such an innovative way of development, as consumer, and all the most important innovations in the media, as a rule, it is not affected by BtB sector.
Currently, the company introduced a new service AOL Energy, in June a new unit will be presented to AOL Government and AOL Defense. AOL Industry will be open with no monthly fee and will only go to a Web publication.
